In the previous article on this topic, I covered the main types of links you want to get for your site. On the last part, I will clearly state which types of links to stay away from pursuing, and I will further explain some misconceptions about the good types of links.

Do not do this to your links.
(1) Placing a form on your site and then allowing anyone to add a link to your site using an automated process. If you do not manually approve these links, well, you are asking for “link problems”. Manually approve these links before posting them. What works, takes work…

(2) Denying a link based solely on a low or non existing PageRank. What a mistake! PageRank is not only outdated, it is also less relevant that it was in the past. As long as it is related to your site, what really matters here, is that the site your are reviewing is indexed or not. That is the key issue, not its popularity. This also applies outside the regular sites circle, to niche directories, smaller engines, etc.

(3) Sites that exchange links with you, but at a later time they do a “nofollow” on your link, or they just simply take it down. That is why you need to check your backlinks periodically to verify the status of these links exchanges.

(4) Sites with faked PageRank. Yes, they are all over. The problem is that you are doing an exchange link or buying a link from a site that doesn’t have the PageRank they claim to (offending domains use a 301 or 302 redirects that point their sites to sites with a high PageRank) and instead getting your genuine PageRank added to them as a trade, or your money.

Considering link exchanges.
This one is not easy, (see above) but also a good way if done right. How? Well, to start look for sites with lots of quality content that is directly related to yours. In this area, articles that are good introductions to your products or services create an opportunity. Focused on your visitors, look for resource pages that would increase their experience. Look for forums that allow actual links to be passed, as there are lots of then available, especially from authority sites, educational and governmental entities. And last, but not least, look for “information paths”, in other words, pages that lead visitors to additional information on a product or service.

Article swapping for links.
This one is very good. When you swap articles with a related site in your industry (for the most benefit) plus you add your own comments (preferably in a different color, hint: blue) to the article you are posting on you site (to avoid duplicate content among other things) this allows you to have additional content on your site, plus the immediate benefit of a properly implemented reciprocal link.

Useful Information About Get Leads On Line

Of course, when it comes to network marketing, one of the biggest things that’s going to be useful for you is to keep your downline growing. If you want to build not just direct sales income but residual income, you need to have people under you who can each build their own sales teams. To do that, you have to have a great plan that anyone in your downline can follow so that they, too, can have success in network marketing recruiting. Here are some tips to duplication that will help you keep your downline growing so that you grow your residual income, too.

Make sure your plan will work for anyone who does as your plan says for least 90 days.

This is imperative, because in order to stay motivated, people have to see results. Therefore, if they do just what your plan says for 90 days, they should be able to see results, assuming they have done the work themselves and have stayed motivated. It’s not your fault if they DON’T stay motivated for those 90 days, but then, you probably don’t want people who are willing to put in effort for three months anyway.

This is just a way to weed those people out. Make sure they WILL see results in 90 days, though, assuming they do what your plan says they should.

Make it flexible enough so that it can be customized to each distributor’s talent and passion.

This is where your help comes in, because your plan should not simply be “cookie cutter.” Instead, you should be able to take each distributor under your wing, get to know him or her a bit, and then help customize your plan so that you work with each distributor’s strengths and weaknesses. In addition, this is helpful because if you do this, you’re going to pass your own teaching and mentoring style onto your downline. In turn, they’ll use it with their recruits, too. Personalized mentoring with network marketing; what could be better than that?

Keep it simple

We have all heard of the acronym, “Keep It Simple, Silly.” But it really is true. Yes, of course, you want to be able to work with your downline’s individual talents and passions, but the basic framework should be really, really simple so that it can be duplicated and then modified as necessary (hence the flexibility also needed) to work with each recruit’s talents and passions.

Work with those who want to, let the rest go

It’s not going to take you very much time to realize the difference between those who really want to put the time and effort into their business to make it succeed, and those who want you to do the work for them. It’s been said that only 20% of the people in your downline are those who really want to work. The other 80% simply want to sit back and get results, which of course isn’t fair. Develop a system for yourself whereby you focus in on the 20% who really want to work (assuming you’re always working on growing your downline), and let the other 80% flounder unless they really want to come and work with you. If a previous “flounder” suddenly sort of gets it and realizes that he or she really wants to succeed, he or she will come to you with hat in hand and want to work. That’s fine. Then you can put some time in with that recruit. Leave the other 80% to fend for themselves unless they really want to work.

Teach

Finally, show these principles to your downline, too, because they’ll use them with their own downlines and pass on your wisdom. If you get that done, then you truly do have residual income that just won’t quit.

Important Secrets About Get Leads On Line

To blog or not to blog is the question. Do home business entrepreneurs really need to blog? I think this is a debatable idea and one I don’t want to deal with in this article. Suffice to say, if you are a network marketer and you do not have a network marketing web presence then you are slipping behind. The times, they are a changing my friend and to be rich these days you must keep up.

If you do not have your own website then a blog is the best and/or easiest way to go – partly because it’s free and partly because it’s relatively easy and partly because it works. I am going to give you 4 pointers to make sure you get started properly to have an effective network marketing blog.

First, there are many blog platforms you can use that are free and I would recommend WordPress. WordPress is easy and versatile and one of the most popular and Google loves it. This means it will be easier to get indexed to get traffic. WordPress also has a lot of different plugins, something you’ll want to Google to find out about that provide additional functionality. Plus there are a lot of different themes you can use to start your network marketing web presence, which means you’ll have a great chance to find one that suits you. So using WordPress is one way to be sure to have an effective network marketing blog as you begin to build your network marketing web presence.

Second, be intelligent in choosing your theme. I’ve recently found out that when Google crawls a blog it typically reads from left to right. The reason this is important is because if you have a sidebar on the left with links or anything that is always the same then Google reads it first every time and considers it duplicate content. Duplicate content is not good and will bring down your rankings and thereby your traffic in the search engines. So pick a simple, easy to navigate theme with navigation bars on the right side allowing Google to read your new posts first. This will help to ensure an effective network marketing blog.

Third, to build your network marketing web presence you should post to your blog often. Update your blog at least every couple days and try to be consistent. Plus, always try to post something of value for your readers. This can possibly be the most difficult part to building an effective network marketing blog. So, it may be wise to plan ahead a little and get together information for good post topics. You can write them all ahead of time so it makes it easier to stay on track. In fact, you can set up WordPress to auto-post for you as in every couple days or so which is something worth looking into.

Finally, and not the least important is that you can host the blog yourself and have your own domain name. You’ll get more Google love this way and rank higher in the search engines. You can find good quality hosting for less than $10 a month and a domain will cost you less than $10 a year. These four tactics will ensure you get started right to have an effective network marketing blog. Need help? Let me know.
